Erasmus Staff Training week “Digitalization and Social Media”


Dear Colleagues,

You are warmly welcome to the Erasmus Staff Training week “Digitalization and Social Media”, to be held at the University of Tartu, Estonia from 5–9 May, 2014.

We would like to share with you our best expertise in two related fields: digitalization and the use of social media by university and its units. Together with dedicated staff of our central library and museums, we will discuss the best practices and challenges of digitalization. On the Social Media module, you will be a part of the workshop for advanced Facebook users and page managers. We will also learn from each other’s experience of managing university social media accounts.

Programme
The programme is designed for universities’ administrative staff and library staff. Other staff members interested in the programme are also warmly welcome. We can welcome approximately 30 participants in total, 12-15 persons in both modules, social media and digitalization.

Costs
Participation in the scheduled programme is free of charge. Please note that all participants are responsible for covering their own accommodation and travel costs and some meals during the week.

All applicants will get information about the selection by March 20, 2014. The successful applicants will be given further information about practical arrangements. Please do not book your flights or accommodation before receiving the confirmation.

Staff Training Week: Managing Consortiums and Promoting Students Employability


Consortium Erasmus Al Sud 2nd Staff Training Week “Managing Consortiums and Promoting Students Employability” 2nd – 6th of June 2014, in Beja, Portugal

The Consortium Erasmus Al Sud (1) is very pleased to invite the colleagues of partner institutions to join us next June and participate in the 2nd edition of the Staff Training Week (STW).

The STW is taking place at the Polytechnic Institute of Beja campus, during the programme participants will have the possibility to attend seminars and training sessions, in and outdoor, to networking and getting involved in the “Alentejo’s” atmosphere , visit the University of Évora and the World Heritage city of Évora.

The programme
The programme is mainly focusing on issues related with the management of Consortia and the promotion of student’s employability. Participants will have the opportunity to acquire and share information, to look at different projects, to exchange experiences and practices under this field. Our aim is to contribute to identify best practices and approaches towards the management of Erasmus Consortia by strengthening the existing cooperation with partners, both higher education institutions and enterprises, and exploring new collaboration possibilities for the future.

Who should participate?
The Erasmus Al Sud Staff Training Week is open to all administrative staff members of our partner universities and enterprises and is particularly targeting those working with Consortia and Erasmus placements, student’s services and career support.
